Funny New Year...

Like every Chinese New Year, it's always a visit to Granddad's youngest sisters' house.  Find it rather urm....boring.  Due to the fact that there's a lot of KIDS! While my PSP ran out of battery.  The kids radically ignored us the elder gang and had their very most enjoyable game, London Bridge.

Looking at them playing that bridge kinda thing sort of reminded us that 'IT WAS MANY YEARS AGO'.

As for dinner, Mom and grandma was too exhausted to cook and decided to dinner out on the first!  It was rather hard to eat out than to eat at home since it's VERY hard to find a decent restaurant on business for the first day of Chinese New Year.  We had Sushi King in the end.

Dropped off Grandparents home and drove home with sis.  Found that parents are not home yet and we don't have the key to access.  Received the news that Grandparent's key couldn't opened up the inner door.

We decided to head back to Grandparent's home to check it out.  Seems like they're waiting outside and Wise Grandma was poking wires into her car window.(She left it 5% open)  As told, there is another sets of keys in the car and she is trying to open up the door lock.  She needs a light and asked us whether there's a torch light in the car.  We took out our phones and shone towards the lock.  At the end, it was really frustrating cz our phone will go blank out when no respond.  I took out the Ipod she bought me 3 years back and the light was much brighter and long lasting(cz I've set it to 'Always on').

"Now you don't regret buying me this Ipod 3 years back!" ( She bought it for me from the states.)

In the end, she looked at sis and suggested she put her arms through it.  Sis was freaked out and I took off my watch trying to slide through.  It went through!! I pulled the lock and the alarm was set.  She found the key and unlocked the inner door.

It was funny cz as though we really are breaking in the house and the car too!

Arrived home and decided to have a game of Monopoly with Sis!  Guess what's special about this monopoly?  What is different than the others?

Other than there is a fine line on different culture like, European, Asian, North America...etc.  One thing REALLY special about this Monopoly Version is that there is NO CASH!! Each player are given a CREDIT CARD!!! Along that, there is a credit machine to be used!

It was REALLY fun and yes, I went bankrupt cz the duration of the game is slow.  Or else, I will earn wild.  Too much property~

Reunion Eh?

It was funny during reunion dinner....

I was being tense bcz of the invention of a Sony psp. Little sis and bro was being addicted to it, non of them are having anything at all! I understand, its been sometime they had psp curfew...

I expect a family dinner to be like a family dinner, moreover its a reunion dinner!

Mom was saying,
'We don't have to eat anymore! I shall have psp on your (Preston) plate, laptop on both of ur (Me n sis) plate, psp on yours (Hillary) and a football for you (Dad)!'

'What about yours?' we asked.

'Astro Max!' Dad replied immediately..

'I want a bunch of cash vouchers on my plate! I want Tangs! Robinsons! Parksons!' she laughs.

I responded 'Ya vouchers! *laughs* Tesco!'

Under the tree~

A post I wrote last year during Christmas

翠Ling, Chui Ling says no fake gucci for leos!~ as presents...

Presents, season of giving as we speak of. Is presents that important? An item we all wanted. We just hope to receive something on special occasions in the reality world.

Greed shall be the word. You greed for items you fantasize for, you greed for items you dream of, you greed for items you don't have the ability to obtain. End up just to wish for it and hoping someone would get it for you.

We all do so and i doubt there would be any deny.

Me myself dare not to deny it either, I might have a little greed in it but I do not hope for it. Presents the main topic, once ruined my life. Presents had once made me a devil filled with greed.

Last 2 semesters, there is an 'in prompt to' presentation held during the hard ass uber advance Technical English class. Each of us pick draws on topics and while mine sucks! Due to it's technical english 2, I don't get the question. The lecturer gave me another chance to pick draw.

The title is 'Worst Presents I Ever Received'

I stood there and to figure out what is the worst present. I told the lecturer there is none, due to the fact I'm always grateful even if presents no matter what it is. I was forced to make up one.

My worst present would be a photo frame. With today's innovative era, we speak of digital data. With digital cameras, we no longer find the need of developing photos with first point, wasting paper! Going green is a trend at the moment, you recycle, you use less paper, you pollute the environment less. While studying architecture course, I've learned that spaces are important same goes for storage spaces. You wouldn't want a space filled with MANY photo frames whereby you can use that space for other purposes? Not just so, there is a new invention called Digital Photo Frame! Very eco friendly in some way i guess?

After this presentation, I had accidentally made 'Photo Frame' into my present shit list! I tried to change my mind or be grateful of but it just stays there. Soon after that, I received a photo frame as present which quite pisses me off. My mistake! (trying to change the theory)

Overall, presents might make someone happy and some nothing but neutral.

P.S : I see the rainbow...

Strolling around city of Kuala Lumpur, you lift up your head. You see street lights with the sky as the background. You see skyscrapers that are not really that tall other than the Twin Towers of course..What else do you see?

Since it's Chinese New Year, you surely expect to feel the festive celebration. You stroll along the main famous streets of Kuala Lumpur... It's no longer like the old days where there are lanterns and lights and greetings on. This Chinese New Year in Kuala Lumpur is rather 'emotionless', just like the normal days in Kuala Lumpur. Where you will be in a city and feel the city rather a city filled with culture.

I wonder what had happened to the usual decorations? Even Raya has their decorations (Not being racist but to compare the fairness) why didn't Chinese New Year? I thought Malaysia is all about the unification of the three main races? Being united and colorful regardless the skin color?

As heard that the City Hall has no money for decorations this season. I really wonder where had the income tax and all tax tax tax has gone to? To anywhere that is useful I hope.

I dare say, I'm actually a Malaysian that doesn't read the newspaper, not keeping myself update about what the country is doing, so does the rest of the world. All I know is to live my life, but regarding this matter, I really wonder....

Alpha what?

Was clearing up the mess in the living room...  All of sudden, a very funky tune broadcasted through the box which we all know it as a television.  It was on the usual teenagers channel, MTV.

Alphabeat! The tune was really funky! With their Music Video is totally an additional bomb for them!  They sounded very much like the 70's and 80's.  While playing with colors and a whole new creativity level on music videos.  Well, sort of?  We just got used to seeing things from our century, yet we have very little chances on to approach the funky high heels and tuck ins with flowery retro shirts, not to forget the 'world peace yaw~'

So yep, its quite fresh for me cz I'm not really a fan for the 70's ha ha ha no offence people..

Anyways, bringing to you,

At least now I found out that I'm once an obsessor of 'One Step At A Time'...

At last!

There is no phone calls from that party for almost a week now.  I've decided to pay them a visit before I leave the place.  I went to the main office and saw the lady who spoke to me last week.  Dang~ she looked so... zombie... with deeeeeeep eye bags.  Looks pity while with the hair messy-ly tied upwards from the back.

I knocked on the glass door though the door is opened.  She looked up and showed a shocking face.

"I remember you! I remember you!" she said it loudly.

"Yes, I was wondering how is the progress of the investigation?" I asked.

"I remember you! But I don't really remember what is the problem again...I remember your face, Is it a lost book? Ah! Yes! You lost a book right?" She replied with a tone filled with 'worries'.

"Urm, its the book renewal charges..." I replied.

"OH YAH!! I passed it to my colleague! Hold on ah, I go get her..."

She immediately move out from her seat and move along in 'lightning speed' to the library compound in search of her colleague.

As she had found the colleague while yelling her name out...
(I wonder what the library is for?)
Ah, she returned to the office and passed me to the colleague.

Wow, I'm glad finally a respond and hope its good!  Apparently... the colleague... was the one in charge of the library that day when I found out about my account being charged. She was just next to the lady who informed me that my account has 'issues'....DANG! Couldn't her do something that day instead of causing me worries for the WHOLE week?

Anyways, she said she had waived the charges but however I still need to pay for the other fine charges which I'm fine about those bcz I had committed them! *Tee Hee...*

Borrowed 4 books! haha imagine the desperation of wanting to borrow books.  2 of them are about Egypt and another 2 are design books.

I just realised the fall of Egypt is bcz of some Pharaoh was being too 'religious' and that caused almost the whole empire gone.  Poor Cleopatra... What is with me and History man! I'm like reading it as though like novel... *faints*

Anyways, back to my room 'Spring cleaning'

They do!?!?

or We wait?? Still waiting for the horror part....Where is it? No where to be found though it was creepy in the beginning but everything turned into a laughing joke right after the first horror part.

There are many parts I find it funny and maybe because of the cheap tactics from the production or some is too 'out of this world'... Well maybe I'm too realistic...

My mind would wonder off when I'm watching movies.  I would think of the Behind-The-Scenes or stuff like how they made it.  Hence, it's quite useless to watch 'Horror' movie with me cz I don't believe in such a thing that exaggerates?  I have already pre-warned Edmund about what he would receive when he watch 'Horror' with me.

Yes, I laughed like crazy during the movie.  It's as though no one's business.  I know I'm disturbing but hell yah! I paid for the movie and I find it comedian... There are seriously alot to laugh about!

Lets put it, the end, there is a bone hand figure grabbed the old man's leg and dragged the whole body! That should be spooky I suppose? But I saw the skeleton hand figure is too "fake" enough to put in the show.  They made it worst! The second skeleton grabbed the other old man's crotch!

We even made fun of the old lady looks like someone....

Yep, We wait not they wait... I've heard alot people said it's scary, and alot had said it to be awesome! For me? I rate it 3 over 10...

P.S / The slice into head was cool! and the sealed thread tied lips!  Overall, it's like any other typical horror movies! The main character solve the problem with a ghost!

Riiiight....

Craves for it!

A question pops up for me during the interview,

'If you were to be an ice cream, what flavor would you choose to be?'

Both of us answered 'WATERMELON ICE CREAM!', 'LECKA LECKA brand!', 'His so possesive till every time pass by would say "lets go in and get my ice cream"!', 'Watermelon'... Audrey knows me well. VERY well indeed! Know what? Next time it's easy for her to answer my girlfriend what flavor I like if they ask her...

Of course, the answer is too obvious to not know about it.  Yes I admit I craves for watermelon lots!  I just love watermelon! No idea why? Maybe it just started from

Yes! Bubble Yum Watermelon flavor.  Yummy indeed eh! The taste and the flavor of it.  Simply splendid!  No! I do not have a stack stock of it in my room nor my house.  I just love the watermelon flavor.

The thing about bubble yum, I think it's too thick?  That turns me off sometimes due to tiredness of chewing it.  Ha Ha...  Last year, I found out about Lecka Lecka Watermelon flavored Ice Cream, that truly melts my heart!  It was random, we felt like getting Ice Cream but there is no Baskin Robins around and heard that Orange Sherbet is gone for sure (excluding Genting).  So we tried Lecka Lecka! I choose watermelon for no reasons and immediately I LOVE it!!

Till today, if I could, I would prefer Watermelon juice in restaurants, watermelon bubble tea, and watermelon as dessert etc.

I just found out that there is even more than just to eat!

National Treasure? KL Treasure!

It started off with questions in our minds to decide where we wanted to be crazy for the day! We've gone through a list of things we have not done it before. Things like Karaoke together, sunway lagoon or maybe ice skate together!

My original plan is to go pavilion for a movie or something. Turns out we went to the LRT station by naturally completely forgotten plans like Karaoke together or ice skate. We made it to HangTuah and we walked all the way to Timesquare just to get ourselves some ice cream! Then we seek to do something else than just the normal movies and makan-ing. Instead, we thought of walking to Menara Kuala Lumpur.

Menara Kuala Lumpur, just right after we arrived up the hill. Looking up towards the gigantic tall structure makes us think of its beauty. At the counter stated the price of an adult which cost us RM38 to go up. It is considered 'expensive' to us, students just to go up. We gave up our very dream and headed down the hill. We passed by some logged cantilevered balcony like, we sat there and talked non stop! The view of the trees in the city was just fantastic! We just don't wanna leave the place but the weather does not permit us to do so...it was cloudy...

We immediately left Menara Kuala Lumpur and while walking down the hill, I saw the brochure which has a little information of Telekom Museum in it. I've always wanted to go to that museum. Even for the juniors orientation! I wanted to bring them there. We walked to the musuem and it was free admission! It fun playing with the old antiques in the museum (I don't whether are we allowed to do so but we just touched EVERYTHING even those beyond the 'lines').

When we finished the tour in the museum (poorly maintained), we find ourselves near Masjid Jamek. I've decided that we should go for the famous beef noodle in Masjid Jamek. We walked there and had our 'early dinner'. Since we're already in Masjid Jamek, we thought of heading to the chinese temple but I've forgotten where is the location of it. So we just walk to Chinatown for the 'Loh Hon Gor' and then we walked to LRT.

It was a fun journey discovering KL like so with a best friend, Audrey. Though everything was a disaster at first but at the end, because we tried and it ended it beautifully! Quite an adventure on a Saturday!

Needles!!

Nooooooooo!! Another trip to 'Spooning'! Woke up at 6 in the morning just for this spooning! Went there and they remembered my name!! Calling me Jon here n there... Wow! They remembered!! I was shocked!

After awhile I arrived there, it's my turn! I went in and the doctor was shocked to see the improvements on me! Acnes all faded, Lungs got better but backache worsened... Ouch!

He then started the acupuncture process. He started to poke my face. One by one. Some wasn't painful but others are just like the cables feeling. It hurts somehow but I still can take it. Then his fingers reached towards under my jaw. That part freaks me out a little and it still does!! When he poked in the needle, I find myself GRINDING my teeth, knuckles all TIGHTLY held, legs were KICKING non stop! THAT PART IS FUCKING PAIN!! SERIOUS! Then he moved to the other side of my face. He started to poke a number of them as though no one's business. There it came again! Another under jaw. This time I really wanted to yell 'FUCK! FUCKING PAINFUL!' but no, I kept my etiquette.

Last, he moved his hand to my legs, and trying to find the veins. I was shock to see that he does legs as well! There he found the vein and he poked in both. Felt like a mosquito and he left me to sleep. I fell asleep and later awaken by my granddad's loud voice talking about some Japan Bullet train and coal fueled train and then some planes and traveling.. He is doing his spooning next cubicle.

GOD! THIS TIME! MY LEGS HURTS!!! You can feel that it's like a hospital blood packs being poked by a needle but the blood are trying to gush out! I was in suffer! I can't sleep! It's plain torture! Then he came in and started to retrieve the needles. God! I feel that god has answered my prayers! It was a relief. I asked the doctor why it's painful on my legs. He said it's my stomach. AH~~ Help! My stomach.... No idea... Then he spooned my back and my chest.

He gave me some medicine to consume like the last. It actually improves mineral absorption in my stomach as told. He said I've gotten fatter! Now, that's in my worries list now. I never gotten fat! No more eating like no one's business! Maybe it's because of the medicine. Ah!! Nevermind then, it's for my own good...

P.S : Anyone interested, do leave a message in the Cbox, I can provide you the contacts. It's in Selayang and I think it cost about RM100 per session/day.

Dirty Little Secrets yaw~

A day with my promise. Headed to Edmund's house for? To help on his room spring cleaning... Cleaning?? I would love to help when it comes to cleaning! Why? You would get to understand and know that person better. By going through the things, the clothes and the stories about everything!

First, to clean a room! Select an area to work with! (Do not start with wardrobe or anything to do with clothes)

Second, Bring out everything from the cupboard/some area.

Third, Wipe off the dust on the area and the items.

Fourth, Go through everything! Select what needs to be thrown/discard and what need to be kept. Play with "need" and "want". Remember, think of the future will you be using it even if you kept it.

Fifth, Stack back those that are to be kept and throw away the others.

Sixth, Move to second area.

*Notice :
1) Open windows, keep your room ventilated. (Not air-cond if could)
2) Remember to wear a mask! (Great for your breathing system)
3) Prepare wet cloth, tissues, garbage bag, vacuum...etc

Overall, the whole cleaning process went well but it took some time to clean up. Edmund was disgusted by the 'dried rubber bands'. It looked like some worms but it's not. It's all gone case rubberbands that are unusable anymore.

We only cleaned a cupboard and the dust actually made me suffer flu! Be grateful brother! I wanted to move on to his wardrobe but he was exhausted to move on! Bwaha ha...I could have done it! Cz it's too messy...but nah, gave him a break!

Edmund! Next is my room!!

Awww...Roman!~

Aww, dear boy Roman is 20 now!! It's been a year. My buddy, Jacqueline's friend. I was being invited to his 20th birthday celebration~ Glad he did! If he did not, WHEN will I know he had moved 5 months before? Buddy not letting me know he had moved.... Haha Thank god he called or else I could have gotten to his old place. Him instructing the directions helped me just a little and I thank google for their google map invention which lead me there via my phone.

I would say I'm one of the lonely aliens there as usual. Maybe I'm turning into an introvert... Dang! Not my nature. Just as I sat down while to have my light meal, seems that Triff (a friend) is just sitting next to me talking to Thanin(Roman's ex-classmate). They were talking about travelling in Cambodia n Laos. Too bad, I've not been to Cambodia so I just kept myself busy with my food.

When both Triff and Thanin were done with their conversation, Triff just kept silent and stared at me. I looked up at him and asked him 'Hows your studies?'. Triff returned a shocking 'My studies? like how you know about me studying' kinda face. Then I hinted him, ' Well, remember? Facebook? Roman introduced you like last last last last week?'. He immediately responded ' OH!!! JON!! NO WONDER YOU LOOKED LIKE SOMEONE I KNOW!!'

Yep, we talked non-stop cz seems that we're both the only ones who we know from everyone in the whole party (means I only know Triff and vice versa). It was all about architecture, architecture, architecture and architecture! Then we moved to studios and studios and overnights and structures and panjat dinding UIA due to curfew and PAM camp and his sexy hot pink graphic design for the banner in PAM camp.

* commercial break, Triff is an Interior Architecture student in UIA, a sempai, a senior*

Then came along Thanin

Then came in the sexay + drunk girls~

These are the presents and yeah, I think you know which is from moi, Jonathan-san~ Everyone gave perfect good presents which I could have gotten those too! Why didn't I? No idea man. Just thought that maybe giving an art piece to decorate their room might look nice? Well! That piece does have meaning to him if he knows what is it.

Was disappointed to hear when he first saw it and said 'I could do this too!' (maybe he thought I bought it or something...)

Well, when I thought of a present for him. Immediately I wanted to produce an A4 piece canvas with my colorful dripping dots from the second floor to the first floor. Seems like all the way to Wins to get it turns out a 'no stock' from the auntie. Ended up getting the usual smaller size one. Dripping dots to me would look like history steps or something that floats in my head, a human like figure with blood dripping off his fingers while continue-ing on his journey. Anyways, the most basic interpretation of colors, I wanted to express 'a journey of 20 years' It is colorful and wish it could continue on his future plain white canvas.

While producing this piece, it took me HOURS due to reasons of color selection in orders and to do by layers. In other words, to let it dry for layers.

While waiting for those layers to dry, I decided to produce another piece. It's a random 'action', just took up another canvas and started to stare on it. I've decided to do the same of what I did on the juniors intake orientation. Spreading strips of colors and twisting everything in all four directions! Oops.. Why didn't I thought of all eight directions?? Overall, it resulted in something I did not expected. A great amount of green appeared! Not bad? Calm (Blue) + Happiness (Yellow) = Something....

Ended up presenting him both pieces. Am happy and glad to see that he place it on top of his bed frame. I think Thanin expects the party to be happy, wild, crazy and DRUNK! So he basically managed to 'convinced' us to drink with a selection of Liquor, Wine and MANY Beer! Malaysia made vodka is STRONG! I had alittle and it gushed up to my brain few minutes later! As usual causing me blush 100% with a tomato head. Most of us are drunk, in Roman's room... doing idiotic stuff, stupid stuff, crazy stuff, and back to idiotic stuff. I forgotten that I'm driving too! Thank god I went back to sober and normal an hour later. Or else, I think I need to over night! haha

Last,
Best of luck for your paper and Happy Birthday Roman! Happy 20!!

Technology & Library?

Ah! Cash notes. How I wish I have unlimited supply of it.

I've learned a lesson today. NEVER EVER TRUST TECHNOLOGY! Yes, technology does give us support, convenient for us and bla bla bla.

Stupid Friggin Tan Sri Loy Hean Heong Library! We were educated in the library workshop in July'07 and for the first time, I actually used the Iportal book renewal system due to overseas unable to return books. I renewed all three of my Building services books via Iportal, volume I, II & III.

After returning from Shanghai, I immediately return the book as it's due on the 26th.

Today I tried to borrow 5 books from that friggin library and it rejects my student ID and saying I got penaltied for RM27!! Any penalties over RM5, account will be barred till fines are cleared. I expect the charges might be around RM10 + due to late renewal and etc.

Seems like the system stated that my Building Services volume I did not 'renew'. I find it shocking cz I had it arranged in order from volume I to III when I was renewing it online. It stated to me that it is successful and new due date is on 26th December 2008. Now? The system shows I did not renew.

Common sense and logical thinking! Why wouldn't I renew Volume I and continue get fine while I renewed my volume II & III? They're friggin not making any senses at all! Too oblige towards what is there is the system. I went to talk to the library authorities in the office, she insisted that I must be fined! She said Workshops always told students to beware of the renewal system. I told her that our workshop did not inform us anything regarding about the system going faulty! Even they know faulty might happen, why wouldn't they fix that bloddy faulty system??

At the end, she says she will pass it to her colleague to investigate! Dang it! My chances are slim as I assume... Wish me luck then...

What happened to...?

I nearly forgotten and lose my interest in Classical music and orchestra pieces.

Thanks to Nodame, I nearly forgotten how to enjoy music. Nodame Cantabile, it was first introduced by Pamelyn. Back in those days, it was just an anime. During that period, I was sick of waiting and loading up the anime on video internet streaming. She tried to force me for it while after I had heard of the remake of Nodame into drama. Pamelyn insist on watching the anime first before watching the drama.

Sorry Pam! I just finished watching Nodame Cantabile, Japanese drama. I now finally understands why I like the drama compared to the anime. It is very much resembling the anime into the drama but it seems that even anime effects like violent beatings and tossing human body is also in practise in this drama. It shows that Wow! reality! than 2Ds... Not just so, the actors are really darn good on expressing their emotion which works great with the drama.

I shall do the less talking and let you do the watching eh?

P.S : I miss Orchestra!

It's 2009 for sure!

2009!

The year I did not see it coming!

Finally, two years later, I'm now a semester 4 student! Those days where I was in semester 1 looking up at those seniors gor gor and jie jie. Now it's my turn to be those freaky anti social scary frightening gor gor. Ha Ha My bad. I'm nice and kind just like the joker who slices peoples mouth to make them smile. Muahahaha

My first post on 2009. Happy New Year people and I noticed that it's quite late to say so. As we speak of new year, surely there will be resolutions. I doubt there is any this year. I remember me and Audrey sitting in the living room writting down our 2008 resolution. We made an oath to keep each other's resolution till the end.

Oops, I think I misplaced it somewhere...I remember clearly that I kept it in the 'box' or maybe I did not bring home? My mistake...

According to Audrey, I actually accomplished most of my 2008 resolution!

Travel - Checked!
Laptop - Checked!
Cellphone - Checked!
Studies - So-So

and etc....

Reading Jacqueline's blog, reminds me about 2009 resolution. Nope, non for this year or maybe doing it later?

I've not done blogging for sometime! God! What happened to me being happy writing blogs everyday? With my policy of everyday postings?

New year, New beginning, Past shall be left behind.

Atleast being happy on the first day of 2009 did satisfied myself. For once, I've not to think about 'Love' and 'Relationships', not being the 'love guru' untill when it's emergency.

Reading alot of blogs today reminded me that how much I have left out? This is a serious thing for me to think about and to be guilty about! I loved blogging but what happened to it?

I'm awake now and I'm back for sure this time!
