Lets continue my story, today, Sunday. For our moral project, we�ve decided to volunteer to work in Zoo Negara. We�ve chosen the 8a.m - 1p.m job and now we�ve already arrived there and heading to the education office to check out what we are being assigned to do�As usual my gang, Carmen Lin, Audrey and Gan Kar Mun. *P.S : All the pictures below are taken without zoom except both hippo*

We are being assigned to do our work at the ??? we�ve got no idea what we�re going to do. We�re being told to meet someone in front the flamingo exhibit. On our way there, we passed by the hippo exhibit! Its still sleeping but the gang kept on shouting �GLORIA��which hippo wouldn�t wake up if they yell like that??

After we met this guy at the flamingo exhibit, his name is Hafiz, he speaks English very well, we thought his an Indian. Next to the flamingo exhibit, there�s this door written �STAFF ONLY� he brought us in, �OOOooo we can enter� appears in between us. Then he brief us through the zoo and what we aren�t supposed to do, be careful, yada yada� Just a few steps after the door, we reached a Rhino feeding, sleeping cage! To us, �wow, no one can see this! Only us!� Hafiz told us that we can�t touch the rhino at the moment, its in a hot-bad temper.

We head on straight until we saw some buildings, first is this cage or something, �Atap� with a giraffe inside, Hafiz told us that the giraffe is in a pregnancy recovery and the carf needs the milk supply from the mother.

This is the carve we�re talking about. It�s just one month old. And we can�t actually go near them because the mother treat any intruder as a source to harm the carf, so the mother would protect the son. We�re being told that the mother would have a tight kick to the intruder.

Our first assignment is to�.Sweep the leaves around the area...go ahead and laugh! Audrey was assigned to sweep the leaves found on the street!

Now, I�m was told to sweep the leaves in front the giraffe section! Yeah! I got a chance to be near the giraffe!

Okay, Not what I expect to be this near�Anyway, we reach there around 8, and tea-break is around 10. The leaf thing took us time to clean it up until 10.20a.m is still not done yet. But the guy asked us to have the tea-break. So we go and have tea-break at Mary-Brown. What you expect? BugerKing? Come on! This is Zoo Negara!

The Zoo opens at 10a.m. So when we go out from that area, its already 10.20a.m. Some visitors had came in, what we first saw is this animal, Malayan Tapir. So Lazy! Wake up!

After we had our tea-break, we head back to the place. I told you that while on our way, we�ll pass by the rhinos right? When no ones watching, we climbed up the steps where there is one, and it lead us here. �Wow I�m so near to a rhino!� so I took this picture! Then suddenly, Gan Kar Mun started to say out loud that the shit is so big! And all of us laugh out very loud! Then the rhino made a very loud sound�Then we all just cover our mouth and ran away! Ha ha ha

When we arrived back the location, we were told to change into boots� �Now I know how Phua Chu Kang feels with his yellow boots, unfortunately, mine is not yellow� said Audrey. Then this guy I think he is called Musa?? Brought us to the giraffe thing, then he asked us to climb in, of course we dare to climb in! We don�t even care the giraffe would attack! Too happy! Then he lead us to a compartment were is just next to the giraffe! But it�s blocked by walls, so that it won�t harm us. Then there is another pair of mother and son giraffe was locked at the fence, now you�re seeing the mother.

Okay, me cleaning the giraffe cage! Full with Cadbury chocolate dots! Their shits are like chocolates.. he he he you could see it at the not wet area� It surely stinks than a human shit� The whole scrubbing thing is so hard�Their shits are stick to the floor.. When we finished the whole thing, Times up, we have to leave� But we still have not enough pictures for the moral project, at least four. So we decided to head to the office and request for extended to 5p.m�the worker there said its okay�so�

After we had our non-existance lunch�because we have no money left after we used all for tea-break. We had a walk around the zoo�Audrey wanted to go the reptile room, so we went there and have a visit to the reptiles although she is having a fear for reptiles. After that, I requested to have a visit my elephants. So they went there with me but after I�m bored with it, I told them its time to return but they just ignored me, I grabbed Gan Kar Mun and we had a walk back there. No on was there and few minutes later Carmen Lin and Audrey came back, followed by the workers.

Next, We are being assigned to feed them! We grabbed some food like this one I�m holding, the proper feeding way are not like this at all! We are supposed to pour the whole thing in to the some how like a bowl shape thingy and let them eat themselves.

The Carve just look at me feeding her mom�tried to feed it but turns out it doesn�t want it, only milk works�Next, we wash the next cage.

Now, we requested to have a trip on the fast truck and to feed the Rhino�s and Seladang (kerbau??) so we are told to bring that thing down so that we can sit on the truck�too bad Audrey and Carmen can�t pull it�

This is when we are taking the tree branches to the Seladangs! That box shows its my leafs and trying to walk and take the pictures behind me�.

The Seladangs are very fierce and powerful, like a bull meets a red colour� So if we want to feed them, we should leave the leafs here and go away and close the compartment. And the door will be opened from the other side.

This is where after we left the food at the cartridge and now we are leaving for the rhinos�that�s the picture of the main wooden door were the seladang kept on hitting the door hardly.

I asked Hafiz whether I could climb up the wall and take a shot. He said if I�m brave enough to do it, then do it. Of course, I�m brave enough to do it, but the shot is not that perfect.

Okay, This is my first time touching a rhino! And the first time to be so near it! This rhino is a guy rhino, the least fierce, Hafiz called him �Boy�. When he called Girl, the female ones will go to the other side�cool! The �boy� likes me, I kept calling boy here and there and it kept on following! But failed for others�he he he

This is the pigmy hippo were only us can see it! Its not in display! The guy said it�s a baby hippo. A new born one�

Well, the park is gonna close. And all the animals should go back to their cages. When they open the gates, we thought the giraffes will do a rampage and ran into their living place. Turns out to be a traffic jam there because they stopped and see us�the zebras can�t stand it longer so it ran fast into their compartment. You could hear the rampage sound when you�re there�quite scary

This three, the funny part is, you can see the water marks? The water marks are urine, and the female pee like a broken hose wit a pipe, hydro blast! The male went to drink it! Gan Kar Mun laughed so loud!

Today, Wednesday, Our Student Counselor club had a visit to Dorani Homestay, a village thing...well, first, batik. Second, we went to a malay kuih factory. Third, we went to a Mango Orchard. Fourth, a malay snack factory. Fifth, Beach. Sixth, Padi Fields. Then we head home. I know I don't have some pictures on some specific locations, so Sorry... This picture was taken during the trip to Dorani Homestay...Padi Fields...Nice huh?
