I'm totally pumped up and motivated right now! I don't want to lose! I don't want to dissapoint Mr. Goh! I shall just start studying the products! This Friday shall be my first day.... Still scared about it...

Wish me luck guys and DON'T COME FIND ME!! (ahaks unless you warn me)

Birthday! Burpday?

I'm going to screwed myself for not remembering Hillary's Birthday. I feel disgraced as a brother! Being too carried away on solving own problems till the stage of forgetting my sister's birthday! Anyways, as I found out about that, an idea came up!

The plan is to bring her out for movies!

Movies? That for you would / might ask, well Hillary is 11 this year. See the connection? Going for movies is normal but going for movies by public transport, now my friend, I call that is something!

Always going around following parents in the car, I can guarantee that she has less experience with public transport! With me having many terrible experiences with public transport, I bet she can experience a lot!

I've decided to check her schedule on what time her school ends and where shall I bring her. I actually thought of going to pick her up at school but then I think it's best for her to come home and get dress.

We actually watched Ironman with the whole family so basically we're definitely won't be watching that. Thank god there is a movie for replacement! Perfect movie for kids! Speed Racer! My childhood cartoon! Her childhood reality movie! (LOL)

I choose Pavilion for movies because it's less crowded by 'la-la' beings and definitely the cinema won't be that pack!

After she arrived home, I told her to get dress and to bring her out. Cassandra was kinda jealous and wanting to follow but sorry Cass! I can't, it's her birthday! We walked to the bus station to wait for that 'freaking late / slow' bus but she seems cool with 'where is the bus' situation. It really seemed like she understands RapidKL system. Oh, it's not her first on a RapidKL bus for your information. She used to travel by bus to KLCC outings with her friends (just only a couple of times).

We then hop off the bus at Bukit Nanas monorail station where I decided to expose her with monorails instead of 'driving to pavilion'. Ended up, she sort of freaked out abit by the height but at the end she got used to it. We went down at Raja Chulan station and walked to Pavilion. Went to the cinema and bought normal tickets.

As we went into the cinema, I actually dragged her to sit on the couple seats! Bah-Hah! You caught me! We illegally sat on the couple seats (I did that for the sake of Illegal comfort) with her not knowing that is not our seat. Minutes later, she started to get comfy with it and with me playing pranks around. She warned me for not going home early because she wanted to get something (no idea what but at the end, she didn't get anything)

Overall, the show was cool (for the RACING SCENES only) other than that was just boring and yawning.

As we left, I told her where our actual seats are and she was shocked but she's happy! Then we walked to Sungei Wang McDonalds. (Walk, I highlight this for a 11 year old girl) After dinner, I wanted to have sticker pictures for memories but she wanted it done with Cassandra and Preston, the four of us in it. All I can say is Maybe Next Time?

Took a bus home and Voila! It was around 8.30p.m. and she need to rush for her homework.

I can conclude that she is very happy as she can't stop telling mom about what we did and stuff. She's happy, I'm happy! Happy Belated Birthday, Hillary!

Treasure!

For having things around us, I tend to ask questions sometime.

Are you grateful for what you already have?

Are you satisfied with the things you have?

Do you appreciate them?

Do you take things for granted?

If you're not, shut up, stop complaining and be grateful!

For what you already have, people might not have it. Others might not be that fortunate to even try to complain. Maybe, for some of them, to own it takes a longer procedure than how you get it.

Always think! What you WANT and What you NEED! Some might think it's the same but it's actually different. If you want it, do you need it? Is it necessary? Try not to lie yourself through when you find it attractive. Sincerely ask yourself that!

The wooden transport box. This really explains the amount of free time I have!! I found the extra small pieces of Balsa from the PJ Hilton Christmas Train Project. It's almost half a year from now. I sometime miss the days crafting the landscape and making tiny buildings. Rushing for deadlines and trying to get things done. The chaotic atmosphere with the seniors huge gigantic meeting fight. Ah, those days!

I come to a point that what it suppose to be treasured in the box. Shall it be money/coins? or Shall it be memories?

Try figuring what you should treasure!

The days...

Holidays started. That's the fun part. The 'potong steam' part? I'm not used to holidays. I'm so used to the days where I wake up, I have things to rush, things that I have in mind. Now holidays? I have nothing...TO DO!!

Look for a job. Well, I tried applying but no promises and Sony is requesting me to return. Honestly, I have no confident working there anymore. I don't feel secure as that pathetic idiot is still there after among all the people who left, he didn't! I don't think I can perform as good as I used to be and worst, I'm scared that I might dissapoint those who look highly upon me. I've been slacking and I totally have no idea how to bring me back up to how I used to be. Help!

I might try to finish off the things in my list as soon as possible then I shall go find a job or Sony...Everyone is encouraging me to work back but (sighed)...

I used to be the best part timer there. The one who didn't receive any teachings from anyone and with the humbleness, the one learn things by himself from discovering things and being CNN. Ended up, I'm the first part timer to know every product, system and everything about Sony. Guessed its the self motivation.

Anyways, I will reconsider the offer...

I realize that it's been awhile I've contributed art to my room. Every day after the exam, I kept having this vision of De Stijl on a part of the wall in my room. Yes, That particular wall. It's not other wall but that particular wall. The vision shown that the art work is done on the wall near the computer but then I realized that I can't place the artwork there. It's too risky due to the fact that my room's furniture would relocate again. Some will be dumped and some will remain. Of course, the computer table is definitely saying Bye to me!

I found there is only a wall that wouldn't be affected which is the wall next to my "Seal The Door". I started drafting the lines on the night of 8th May. Woke up late today and started color it without any planing of location. I followed my instincts and it turn out to portray my present mood.

My personal interpretation, the red represents the anger and pumped up. The Blue, calmness as you can see that there are still calmness in me. Thank god! The yellow shows that I still believe that there is hope and bright future. while the white shows the innocent of me where I did nothing wrong.

De Stijl, I'm not sure about the rules. I think I went against the nature of De Stijl. I left some part un painted. My original wall color is light green and I left it in some of the areas. It is to prove that there is still Jonathan in it! My greens!!

To innovate the style, I added some small pieces of mirrors (It's not in the photo, added after taking the photo) to reflect surrounding colors and to reflect the colors in me from time to time.

What do you think of it?

Checkered Flags

Monday, the day we planned to race off to Sepang Circuit. Not really though...does speeding cars count? Two cars, one front and the other back? One silver Perdana and yellow Satria? I guess not. Anyways, we went there right after Nat nat's TE2 class. No, its after breakfast in college then only we depart to Sepang Circuit.

It was my first. Yes! I know I jakun. First timer for Sepang. Dad once went for the "don't know what" convention and got a Kingston 1GB Sepang official Thumb drive for free! ( Jealous, still wants it!)

From Kar Weng's research, we found that prices for the seats are "FREAKING" expensive. I'll touch about that later.

The purpose we're there due to our Interior Behavior Studies's toilet design. Yep, the assignment I used to talk about.

Toilet design. We actually finalized our design but since there are critics and needle attacks from the lecturer, it actually performed a traditional acupuncture onto our design.

It was like a balloon with a hole, surrounding air pressuring the inner air out. It is like blood flowing out from a wound causing a huge chaos just like what happened to Pamie's finger when she accidentally cut it, leaving a pocket like on her finger joints.

Moving on, we arrived there and we, the ones who are inexperienced which includes everyone thought that a permission is required. In the end, they said we can just walk in and explore without limits (not the car workshop, just the viewing deck).

We walked all the way from the main office to the viewing deck where the spectator sits. It's a freaking long path! We first checked their toilets, that is the main objective. As shown below, that is the public toilet.

The urinals and the cubicles

As you can see, tickets are sold expensive and yet the facilities are poorly maintained. At first we wanted to re-design this toilet but we changed our minds. We are going to re-design the corporate suit's toilet which it cost RM5k -Rm9k per person to be in the Bronze corporate suit. Yet the toilet for all suits are just plain and simple. There are suits that are more expensive than that! Think! What about Silver and Gold? What about Platinum? (don't know it exist or not).

Fast N Furious pose eh?

Our disastrous jump picture

On the way back, they as shown below started to show signs onto the window written :

" Poyo la! Smartag! ", they wrote.

" Cash better ", we replied.

This is what they wrote.

" Got Smartag! "

-------------------------------------------

Out of randomness, this occurs.

"I like cookies??!?!", they wrote.
and so on.......till the way back to college.

*to be continued...

Choo Choo?

Standing at the train station...

looking at the time...

When is it arriving?

----------

The train arrives...

Doors open...

You wonder to board or not to?

Wonder to squeeze among people?

Or just an empty train?

Chances will come, wait for another train?

Stranded there if it's the last train?

-
-
-
-

Or just wait for tomorrow's train?

It very much depends on the destination we're heading. The perfect timing is the key and it depends very much on where the train is heading towards to.

I board trains alot and missed trains alot but I always tell myself "there is always a second train..."

If it is a last train then it takes a longer time for the next train to arrive. There is always tomorrow but don't miss the train!

(Oh dear, now this sound like PJ Hilton Christmas Train Project 2007)

Precious Red Gem

Heart is like a Red Gem

A precious piece of Red Gem

Not to anyone but to some

It may seemed important

Ignorance would occur without it

Maybe...

Every time you sneeze, your heart stops beating...

What if you keep sneezing continuously?

Does your heart completely stop beating?

Would you die?

Are you willing to leave?

Are you done with your life?

Are you satisfied with everything till present?

Are you grateful of what you had?

Is life precious or what?

I'm suffering continuous sneezes at the moment...

It would be lovely to receive a 'get well soon' card

I'm just dreaming...

Religion Vs Culture

To continue from previous post,

Angela Hijjas, a kind woman who knows how to lead a tour. A perfect tour on knowing what to show and what not to show. There it is, the Perak Malay Traditional House. The house was found in Perak (not sure which part) and to be told that it was build since 1904/02.

Angela asked us to observe and tell her what motifs can we identify from the house. I proudly to say, I answered "Chinese". Yep, it is Chinese. Ah, Chinese! Erm, so? Good question. Dragons, Pheonix, Nian and etc the motifs found on the facade of the house. Try to relate it to Chinese motifs onto a Malay traditional house?

Going back through time, it is to be told that it was carved/produce by a Chinese carpenter from China back then! Chinese are of course came from China, migrated to Malaya. For that particular Chinese carpenter, he was hired to build the house back in 1902/04 and the house was not inhabited by locals (Malay)! It was Sumatera-ns who migrated to Perak. See the point? A foreigner producing a local product for another foreigner! It was not even for the locals. There we can observe that there is cultural adaptations. Chinese motifs on a Malay house which sumatera-ns resided in!

In the house, we can see that carvings on the panels are somewhat very Chinese too! It seems like Chinese coins to me. So does a continuation of Chinese motifs revolving around the interior walls.

Like every Malay traditional house. This house too has its own "Bunga Halang" a combination of 3 cloths, Red, White and Black. All three of this acts as something like the Chinese practice, the yellow paper folded and wrapped with charms to ward off bad lucks called "Fu". "Bunga Halang" is exactly the same thing! Also, when the house was build, like every house, a coin from the year would be placed on top of the "Bunga Halang". Of course it is also like other houses which is not build by nails, it is mainly just assembling every parts of it. I believe the process of building a house can be done in a day's time?

Since Angela is a Caucasian being converted into Islam, I believe that she also comes to a point that there would have some disagreement. Angela argued on, in Islam, there shouldn't be anything in believing things than just God. Since so, why is there such beliefs in "Bunga Halang"? I, myself find that interested to debate about. It is true that Muslims shall not belief in things than just God. Not even tarots that tells fate accurately or some superstitious beliefs. But from this, we can see that there is such practice in the oldies. So does the owner is a Muslim. Angela continued to argued that what is there to lose if you believe in something good for own? "Bunga Halang" wards off evils from the house. Since then why is there harm to believe in such things?

I could conclude that there is cultural clashing occurring in today's context. Think! Culture and religion should not be combine nor mixed. Religion is religion, a belief and Culture is culture, a practice. Why should both be mixed whereby both are different topics! Should those be arabian cultures? Is it intruding Malaysia where Malaysia is no longer standing their traditional culture? Instead readapting what is outside?

Think again, When a Muslim gave birth to a child, why should the child be a Muslim too? Is it because it's stated in the Islam context? What about our Malay culture? Since religion is something what you belief in, should you force a person to belief in something or rather just let it natural?

As once was argued on Malaysian Parliament, I quote "Malaysia ini negara Islam". Should one say so or should it be "Malaysia ini Negara Melayu"? (I'm reusing the word, Tanah Melayu). Yes, Islam is the national's religion but do not forget that it is the fact that is a religion.

Hence, I shall not say anything anymore cause it might go deeper and more complicated. It is for you to do the thinking for now and of course, whatever is written is strongly just my opinion.
